This series is based on moments in time… whether it is a second to ourself, getting lost in a book, feeling blue or having a good cry. These are moments we all have.
Uitwaaien is a word the Dutch use, it is simply the practise of walking in the wind. Directly translated to English it will probably be something like ‘Blow out’ but really there is no word in English to describe ‘uitwaaien’. That simple practise of walking in the wind clears your mind, releases stress and for me personally, refreshes the soul.
The original picture is painted with watercolours, scanned, and taken, as is, to print. This process gives it a beautiful original feel and makes for a special, unique card for you to send your message to a friend or loved one.

The postcard is printed on PaperWise paper. This paper is made from agricultural waste and is environmentally friendly. It has a beautiful light beige tint giving it a rustic feel.
